Year round access to structured academy development through 433 Football Academy in the UK or NEXTGEN Academy in Spain. Stays can be short or long depending on the player, academy capacity and agreed programme.

You do not need to apply three times or decide everything before you start. Submit one player profile and tell us which route interests you. NEXTGEN then reviews the football evidence, readiness, circumstances and access needs before recommending the most realistic next step.
How it works
Apply once. We help identify the right pathway.
All three routes start with the same player first review. A preferred route can be selected in the application, but NEXTGEN may recommend a different option if it is a better fit for the player’s development, eligibility, welfare or funding situation.
Sponsored Academy Pathway
The same UK and Spain academy environments can be available to selected high potential players when donor or sponsor funding is available. Support may be partial or full and is never guaranteed by applying.
NEXTGEN Africa Team
The officially launched Africa pathway for selected young players. The route moves from scouting across Africa to a preparation camp in Guinea, then tournaments and scout showcases, followed by European hosting and trials for selected players.
One application covers all three pathways.
Choose the route that interests you most, or select “Not sure” and ask NEXTGEN for pathway guidance. Paying for a programme never guarantees a contract, trial, visa or club selection, and sponsorship depends on selection and available funding.

Independent selection: donors, sponsors, agents and commercial partners cannot buy or direct player selection. Internal scoring and thresholds stay private because decisions depend on context, evidence and the specific programme.
Common questions
Before you apply
Do I need a separate application for each pathway?
No. Submit one player application. You can select a preferred route, and NEXTGEN can recommend a different pathway if the review indicates a better fit.
Can I pay NEXTGEN for a professional contract or guaranteed trial?
No. Payment can cover a defined academy or development programme, but it cannot buy a professional contract, club selection, guaranteed trial or visa.
Does applying for the Sponsored Academy Pathway guarantee free participation?
No. Sponsorship may be partial or full and only becomes available when the player is approved, an academy place is suitable and sufficient donor or sponsor funding exists.
What if the player is not ready for one of the three routes?
NEXTGEN may recommend more development, stronger evidence or a different next step. An honest “not yet” is better than placing a player into the wrong environment.
