Community development

Youth, welfare and community strengthening projects.

Approved local partner programmes

Delivery with credible local organisations where appropriate.

Our ambition is to create opportunities for individual players while strengthening the environments where future generations develop. Financial support never creates ownership of a player, representation rights, transfer rights or control over selection and football decisions.

Accountability

How funding becomes verified impact.

Receiving funds is only the start. For each significant programme or project, NEXTGEN links the funding to a defined purpose, an approved budget, supporting evidence and regular review.

  1. Define purpose
  2. Approve budget
  3. Deliver & document
  4. Monitor & adjust
  5. Close & report
Restricted funding stays with its purpose

When funding is accepted for a specific approved programme or project, it is tracked and used for that purpose rather than moved elsewhere for convenience.

Report spending and outcomes

Significant programmes should record what was spent, what was delivered, what changed and what should improve next time. Sensitive player or child information is never published simply to demonstrate impact.

Responsible project development

Community projects should create measurable long term impact.

Larger NEXTGEN community projects follow a responsible process before and after funds are deployed.

How community projects are selected

  • Genuine community need
  • Number of potential beneficiaries
  • Child safety
  • Local partner credibility
  • Long term sustainability
  • Financial feasibility
  • Best value option, including refurbishment or shared use before unnecessary new construction
  • Site and land rights where relevant
  • Maintenance capability
  • Measurable long term impact
