Lesedi arrived from South Africa at 15 and spent roughly three years developing in a Spanish academy environment before moving into elite youth and senior football.
His route was not straight. He moved through Vázquez Cultural, CD Tudelano, Juventud Torremolinos and CP Mijas-Las Lagunas before returning to Torremolinos and earning promotion to Primera Federación. Lesedi’s talent, discipline, adaptability and persistence drove the progress; NEXTGEN’s role was to help create a safer, clearer route around that work.

In 2021/22, when he turned 18, Lesedi played for Vázquez Cultural in Spain’s División de Honor Juvenil, one of the country’s top youth levels.
CD Tudelano · Segunda Federación
In 2022/23, he stepped into senior national football with CD Tudelano in Segunda Federación, adding an important professional level environment to his development.
Torremolinos, then Mijas-Las Lagunas · 2023/24
During 2023/24, Lesedi played for Juventud Torremolinos before moving to CP Mijas-Las Lagunas. Mijas finished first in División de Honor Andaluza and earned promotion to Tercera Federación.
Return to Juventud Torremolinos · promotion to Primera Federación
Lesedi returned to Juventud Torremolinos and played 23 league matches in the 2024/25 Segunda Federación campaign. Torremolinos finished first and earned promotion to Primera Federación, giving Lesedi a second promotion milestone in consecutive stages of his route.
Primera Federación · 2025/26
He then competed with Juventud Torremolinos in Primera Federación during 2025/26, completing a journey from academy development and youth football into Spain’s national senior pyramid.
Return to CP Mijas Las Lagunas · 2026/27
Lesedi has returned to CP Mijas Las Lagunas for the 2026/27 season. The South African midfielder joins the club as it competes in Segunda Federación, beginning a new chapter with a team whose colours he has represented before.
What this journey demonstrates
Player development is rarely linear. Lesedi’s route shows the value of giving a young player time to develop, taking the right step at the right moment and progressing through performance rather than chasing one short term placement.
Public milestone reference: CP Mijas Las Lagunas announced Lesedi’s return for the 2026/27 season after his time with Juventud Torremolinos. His route now includes a second spell with Mijas, where he was previously part of the team promoted in 2023/24. Open reference ↗
