NEXTGEN Foundation is proud to congratulate Lesedi Steve Alset on his return to CP Mijas Las Lagunas for the 2026/27 season in Segunda Federación.
The 22 year old South African midfielder joins the club after competing with Juventud Torremolinos in Primera Federación. He brings work rate, physical power and energy to the centre of the pitch.
A return to familiar colours
Lesedi already knows what it means to represent Mijas Las Lagunas. He was part of the team that made history by earning promotion to Tercera Federación in the 2023/24 season. Two years later, player and club come together again for a new challenge.
Another chapter in a long term pathway
Lesedi’s journey from South Africa into Spanish academy, elite youth and senior football has demanded patience, adaptability and continuous work. His return to Mijas adds another important chapter to a pathway that has already taken him through Vázquez Cultural, CD Tudelano, CP Mijas Las Lagunas and Juventud Torremolinos.
